Endowment

The Children’s Guild seeks to seed a permanent $20 million endowment. Although the plan is an ambitious one, it is absolutely necessary to growing and sustaining The Children’s Guild’s high-performance learning environment, particularly its teaching staff.

Given the nationwide critical shortage of qualified special educators, salaries and benefits packages for these educators have become increasingly competitive. The Children’s Guild must generate the necessary income to attract and retain the best professionals.

Additionally, we need adequate cash flow for investing in program enhancements, particularly arts enrichment programs, and grounds and facility maintenance and improvements, including campus and group living residence gardens and outdoor classrooms.
